About the instructor

Hello Everyone,

My name is Esther Bae, a highly skilled senior Korean language expert.

​

I have been enthusiastically teaching Korean language and culture for 13 years around the world, including Korea, Chile, Germany and the United States.

​I majored in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language(B.A) and Korean Studies(M.A).​

​

Previously, I worked at Ansan University in South Korea for 3 years.

I was also employed with the King Sejong Institute Foundation(KSIF), which is a public institution created under the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. I had worked as a dispatched senior Korean language expert from March 2015 to April 2023 to teach Korean language classes for a diverse group of young adults and train local Korean teachers.​

I am a licensed Korean language expert for teaching Korean as a foreign language certified by the Republic of Korean government. My license is the highest of the three levels of certification (Level 1).
